To take part in The Project Learn to Lead you MUST be a competent and practiced top rope climber.

A 60-minute climbing session designed specifically for our youngest adventurers. No experience needed, just a sense of curiosity and a willingness to try something new.

Our instructors will be with them every step of the way, teaching the basics in a fun, safe, and controlled environment. They'll learn how to climb, how to move on the wall, and how to stay safe while having a brilliant time.

It's a chance for kids to explore, conquer challenges, and discover what they can do.

Building on your top roping abilities, the next progression for many climbers is mastering lead climbing. This skill not only maximises your experience at our centre but also enhances your strength and technique.

Our Learn to Lead course is designed to equip you with the skills needed for safe climbing in any indoor facility, setting the foundation for future outdoor climbing adventures. The course focuses on teaching you the fundamental safety systems.

Once you grasp these basics, you'll have the freedom to climb at your own pace, tackling routes that match your skill level. Guided by the enthusiasm and expertise of our instructors, you'll find yourself increasingly drawn to the challenges and rewards of lead climbing.

The course runs weekly over 3 consecutive weeks, with each session lasting 2 hours. You need to be a competent, confident top rope climber and belayer.

We strongly recommend you're climbing at 6a or above before booking. Must be 18 years or older.

A structured introduction to the world of roped climbing for adults!

The course includes two guided climbing sessions, each lasting three hours, spread over two weeks. Each session aims to build your climbing skills and confidence in a friendly and professional setting.

You'll learn the essential techniques and safety practices needed to climb competently. Once you complete the course, you'll be able to use Boulders, and pretty much any indoor climbing wall, without instruction any time you like. No need to pre-book once you're signed off.

All equipment is provided, so there's no need for prior experience or personal gear. It's the perfect way to start your journey in this exciting sport.
