Our climbing courses for ages 9-13 introduce more technical aspects to the sport.
Kids will learn belaying, knot tying, safety elements, and consideration for other climbers, alongside plenty of actual climbing and fun.
The courses build a solid foundation of climbing knowledge while developing transferable skills like teamwork, coordination, and communication. We focus on helping kids enjoy climbing and develop a love for the sport that carries into the future.
Classes are split into NICAS Levels 1, 2, and 3. Level 1 is for beginners or those moving up from younger courses. Levels 2 and 3 are for those who've completed the previous level. Both climbing and bouldering are covered in these sessions.
Courses run for 5-7 weeks depending on school half terms. All equipment is provided.
