The GOAT Belay training class is a great way to learn how to be an independent climber in our community. New and experienced climbers alike learn how to control the ropes and belay their climbing partner in the correct, up to date, industry recommended manner.
During the class we cover:
Harnesses and harnessing
Petzl/AMGA PBUS belay technique
Usage of different belay devices
Controlled lowering
Additional items of knowledge to make your climbing experience as fun as possible!
The class is approximately 1.5 hours in duration. All equipment is provided for the class.
Any changes for this class must be made at least 24 hours before scheduled class. If you do not show up for class, you can not apply payment to another class. YOU WILL NOT GET A CREDIT OR A REFUND
