Interested in using our facility for your team's training?

We offer a 3 hour time slot to allow your team to train at Goat and to prevent over crowding in the gym and give all teams an opportunity to train for the upcoming season.

Reserving a team booking is free and is booked on a first come first served basis. Please note, we will be spreading out bookings to all teams in an effort to keep it fair. Your booking is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email from Goat Climbing Gym.

Conditions

• Maximum 20 participants

• All participants must have a form of entry pass (day pass, membership, etc.); free entry for USAC certified coaches (L1 & L2)

• Team coaches must be belay certified, as well as anyone belaying in the gym.

• Team members must be 14+ to top rope belay

• Team members must be 13+ to lead climb (with certified coach belay)
• Team members must be 16+ to lead belay

Team members must follow the rules and act in an expected manner.

If you need a spare lead belayer, a Goat staff member can be booked to lead belay your athletes for a +$100 fee.

Interested in using our facility for your team's training?

We offer a 3 hour time slot to allow your team to train at Goat and to prevent over crowding in the gym and give all teams an opportunity to train for the upcoming season.

Reserving a team booking is free and is booked on a first come first served basis. Please note, we will be spreading out bookings to all teams in an effort to keep it fair. Your booking is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email from Goat Climbing Gym.

Conditions

• Maximum 20 participants

• All participants must have a form of entry pass (day pass, membership, etc.); free entry for USAC certified coaches (L1 & L2)

• Team coaches must be belay certified, as well as anyone belaying in the gym.

• Team members must be 14+ to top rope belay

• Team members must be 13+ to lead climb (with certified coach belay)
• Team members must be 16+ to lead belay

Team members must follow the rules and act in an expected manner.

If you need a spare lead belayer, a Goat staff member can be booked to lead belay your athletes for a +$100 fee.

Petzl/AMGA PBUS belay technique
Usage of different belay devices
Controlled lowering
Additional items of knowledge to make your climbing experience as fun as possible!

The class is approximately 1.5 hours in duration. All equipment is provided for the class.

The GOAT Learn to Lead Climb and Belay training class is the next step to becoming a fully independent climber in our community and making the most of our amazing gym!

The class is made up of 2 separate classes of approximately 2 hours in duration.

All the equipment required for the class is included, however for your comfort we recommend you have your own personal climbing harness and climbing shoes.

6 months of Top Rope Belay experience and TR Belay Certification at GOAT Climbing Gym required
