• Bringing a climbing partner is recommended, if you do not have one we will find a community member to help, or staff the test appropriately.
• Tests are approximately 10 – 15 minutes long
• You are welcome to use a tube or assisted braking device at Goat, but you must pass the belay test on both the device you wish to use and the Goat Grigri+ Rental device
• We recommend using your own climbing harness and equipment for your own comfort, if you do not own the above, rental equipment is available to rent from the front desk.
• A free belay test does not constitute a day pass to climb, please make sure you purchase a day pass or membership option to climb before and/or after your test!
