GRAVITY BEAR Bouldering League introduces climbers to competition climbing in a friendly community based way!
Important info:
- Categories will be: Recreational(V0-V2), Intermediate(V3-V5), Advanced(V5-V7), Open(V8-V12)
- League will run for 4-weeks total
- The first 3-weeks will be a qualifying round
- Each of the three qualifying weeks will have 20 boulders set over two setting days. (Tuesday and Thursday)
- The climbers two best weeks out of three will be scored. This means you can miss a week or even start on the second week!
- Recreational, Intermediate and Advanced will have a finals round run as a Modified Redpoint. The top 15 in each Cat will advance.
- 4-point starts, zone holds, limited attempts and a time limit
- All climbers will be out at the same time
- Open finals will be a Flash format. The will get to watch previews videos of the boulders before the event and witch each other climb. But will have a 4-minute timer per boulder!
- EVERYONE that participates will have access to the League Party and Potluck, which will run before and during the final.
