What will be covered in the session?
- The class will involve an educational brief about shoulder anatomy and rotator cuff function.
- A thorough warm-up will teach you how you can easily and efficiently warm up at the crag or the wall.
- We'll then cover a circuit of more targeted evidence-based shoulder exercises with supervision.
- Finishing with a few simple shoulder stretches.
Having healthy, strong shoulders makes climbing more fun!
About Tim:
My name is Tim, I am a physiotherapist with a special interest in climbing injuries and a passion for getting people back to doing what they love.
I have over 15 years of climbing experience and 4 years of climbing coaching experience.
Having had a number of climbing injuries myself, I understand the importance of feeling informed and confident about how to become strong and resilient on the wall.
