Are you a looking to improve your lead climbing skills, work on overcoming that fear of falling, work on climbing more efficiently or just looking to take your lead climbing skills to the next level? Join us to hone and improve the skills you learned in our Learn to Lead Climb clinic in our Advanced Lead Climb Clinic!

In this class you'll learn new ways to optimize your clipping technique, gain skills on climbing efficiently and getting the most out of on the wall rests, improving rope management, and boosting overall endurance for the long climbs. This clinic is perfect for those with some lead experience and want to take it to the next level and feel more comfortable on the sharp end of the rope.

Cost: $75 for members | $105 for guests

Additional Notes: Lead climbing is inherently more dangerous than top rope. Participants should be mentally and physically prepared to take on that risk.

Lead Climb and Lead Belay certification at Peak is required for this class.

This class is 2 hours.

Gear and Rentals

Participants will need a harness, climbing shoes and a belay device for the class. It is recommended to take the class using the belay device with which you are most used to lead belaying. If participants need any of this equipment, we can provide harnesses, shoes, and ATCs/Gri Gris at the front desk.

Participants are welcome to use their own dynamic climbing rope if they have one. If not, no worries! Peak will provide dynamic climbing ropes for the class.
