This is the session for anyone who is 14 or over, with no experience of bouldering who wants to come and climb unsupervised or who wants to have a taste of bouldering.
The course is an hour-long session with one of our instructors, and focuses on demonstrating what a safe bouldering session may look like. This course is obligatory if you would like to use The Project Climbing Centre but have never climbed before and don't know any registered climbers who can sign you in.
After doing this session:
- Ages 18+ can climb unsupervised straight away and and sign in up to two guests
- Ages 16-17 can climb unsupervised straight away
- Ages 14-15 need to come back and do a Sign-Off session before they can climb unsupervised (no additional cost)
Climbing shoe hire is included in the price of your session, but we recommend you wear a pair of trainers for the tour and warm up.
Under-18s do not need to be accompanied for this session however, a parent or legal guardian must complete an Under-18 Bouldering form before the start of the session.
