Junior Club 14-17 Improvers

Following the NICAS Bouldering (National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme) curriculum, our Junior Club is a termly course that aims to take young climbers from being complete beginners through to being competent and confident climbers.

Participants on this course will work their way through NICAS Bouldering Improver sessions, include continuing "Foundation Boulderer" and moving onto "Competent Boulderer". The learning outcomes for Improver sessions Aim to develop participants to become independent autonomous rock climbers while developing a wider understanding of climbing techniques and ways to improve climbing performance. (Please note: each subsequent level contains more content and therefore takes longer to complete!)

Participation in our Junior Club course requires registering your child for the NICAS Bouldering scheme (this will be done by our coaches) and the purchase of their NICAC Bouldering log book, which we will use to keep track of their progress. This costs £7.50, which will be collected when you arrive for your first session if you are new to the course.
