This is an induction for the above University Mountaineering Club. All students with valid student ID are welcome, you do not need to be a club member yet to sign up.

Entry is £8 for the night and includes shoe hire for induction day only.
Joining the University Mountaineering Club and showing proof of Club membership gives you access to £8 entry / £1 shoe hire for the remainder of the academic year, expiring 31st July 2025.

Prospective Club members will have access to these prices until the 21st October.

If you are intending to climb on this induction evening, please prebook whether you are a regular ROC climber, climbed before but not at ROC, or a new boulderer completely. Entry price is £8 whether you prebook or pay at the door but we do advise prebooking to avoid queues. Save the QR code onto your phone once you have booked your ticket for fast track entry.

New climbers will be asked to attend a short (5 minute) induction with one of our instructors on the night, you will be directed where to go once you arrive.

Experienced climbers will not need to attend an induction.

If you have a ROC membership pass, please log-in and sign up for the event - you will not be charged but this allows you to prebook a spot.

3 month and 6 month passes will be available to buy on the night for those with proof of Club membership.
