Welcome to the Greater Manchester Schools Competition for 2025!
This is open to all schools and students of all climbing experiences and abilities.

This is a bouldering competition held at our Manchester Central site, an open competition format using 30 problems. The centre will be closed to the public for the morning to allow the whole centre to be used for the competition.

There will be prizes for individual climbers and the best overall team. Teams can have a maximum of 8 climbers across the categories. Schools may submit multiple teams.

Each team will need one teacher/staff member present to help with supervision. Teams must stay together at all times. Exceptions may be made for climber signed off with Rock Over Climbing prior to the competition as an independent, unsupervised climber. We will not be signing off unsupervised climbers on the day.

Please submit the following form to book with how many students you plan to bring and details to invoice to. Cost is £10 per participant.

We are running pre-competition taster and coaching sessions for £100 per group of 8 students. Contact office@rockoverclimbing.com to book with number of students, preferred centre and preferred date and time.

There is a link to a competition waiver to be signed and completed before the competition day. We will be using this for registration so please complete these by Wednesday 12th March.
