Outdoor Experience

Event Details

If you've ever wanted to give outdoor climbing a try, then this is the program for you. Rock Spot staff will provide all the necessary equipment and take care of anchoring the rope so all you need to focus on is climbing. Recommended for all abilities regardless of climbing experience.

$49 for Rock Spot members
$59 for non-members

Sessions are held from 10am - 1pm at various locations:

Sept. 13 : Ross Rocks (Killingly, CT)

Sept. 14 : Quincy Quarries (Quincy, MA) *

• Select events are followed by a separate Top Rope 101 anchor building class from 2pm-5:30pm. Registration for those classes can be found here: Top Rope 101

** We will be partnering with Arc'teryx during select Hammond Pond climbing sessions. Staff from the nearby Arc'teryx Chestnut Hill location will have a table set up next to the cliff and provide refreshments.

Register early if you are able! Outdoor Experience sessions could be canceled if the minimum participant count is not reached within 3 days of the event date.
