Sport Climbing 201 covers the essential information required to lead and top rope bolted routes outdoors. This class takes place indoors with simulated anchors and situations to facilitate hands-on practice with expert instruction.
All participants must pass a Rock Spot lead climbing and belaying test at least 24 hours beforehand or be previously certified.

Crag ethics and etiquette
Outdoor hazards and risk mitigation
Gear features, inspection and maintenance
Installing and removing quickdraws
Use of personal tethers
Installing and removing anchors in a variety of situations
Transitioning to lower from a variety of bolted anchor types
Following on top rope with directionals for overhanging or traversing routes
