Rec Team: Drop In

Ages: 9–17

Schedule: Monday/Wednesday 5:30pm-7pm (pickups allowed until 7:30pm)

Price: $45 for one class drop-in, includes gym entry and gear

The Recreational Team is perfect for climbers who are motivated to push themselves to grow as young adults and become a better climber in a positive and supportive environment.
This program focuses on:

Growing foundational climbing techniques
Establishing skills for outdoor environments
Confidence and independence
Goal setting

All coaching staff hold USA SafeSport and CPR certifications. They are committed to developing better climbers as well as fostering strong character through climbing challenges and personal growth opportunities.

Like the Intro Bouldering Team, the Recreational Team has no formal competitions or evaluation requirements, making it a flexible option for climbers looking to enjoy the sport at their own pace. There may be some optional competitions for athletes looking to take part in that and coaches are more than welcome to help athletes navigate the comp scene.

Program Highlights:

Skill driven small-group instruction with the goal to learn and put teachings into practice
Maintains a coach-to-athlete ratio of 1:8, with a maximum of 16 athletes per team
Includes a Boulder Garden membership, along with all associated perks

Climbing Adventures - Time on the climbing wall, where youth will build confidence, develop skills, and have a blast!
