Learn to Lead Outside!

Ready to take your climbing beyond the gym? This course is designed for confident climbers who are ready to make the transition to leading on real rock.

This course is intended for climbers who are comfortable top-rope belaying, have experience climbing outdoors, and consistently climb at least 5.9. Throughout the course, you'll build the skills and confidence needed to safely lead sport climbs outside.

You'll learn essential outdoor lead climbing techniques, including clipping bolts efficiently, lead belaying, managing rope systems, cleaning sport anchors, risk assessment, communication, and best practices for climbing in an outdoor environment. Our experienced instructors will guide you through hands-on practice while emphasizing safety, decision-making, and climbing etiquette.

By the end of the course, you'll have the knowledge and practical experience to begin leading single-pitch sport routes outdoors with confidence.
