Join us on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at Vertical View Climbing Gym for a Halloween climbing competition filled with challenging routes, costumes, activities, food, prizes, and frightful fun.

Event Schedule

Rules Meeting: 10:45am
Competition: 11:00am to 3:00pm
Food and Refreshments: 3:00pm
Prize Ceremony and Raffle Drawing: 4:00pm

Participants must be present to win costume contests and raffle prizes.

Competition Categories

Beginner: Top Rope
Intermediate: Top Rope and Lead
Advanced: Lead

Male and female divisions will be available within each category.

Entry

Vertical View Members: Free
Nonmembers: $20, including a Rock Gym Day Pass
Food and refreshments are included
Cancellations beginning October 24, 2026, are nonrefundable

Each competitor will receive a scorecard and one raffle ticket with registration.

Costume Contest

Come one, come all, and show us what you’ve got! Arrive in costume to be automatically entered into the costume contest and receive one additional raffle ticket.

Will the winner have the funniest costume, the most creative costume, or the best overall look? There is only one way to find out!

Activities and Raffle Tickets

One big, beautiful raffle prize will be waiting for one lucky winner!

Earn additional raffle tickets by participating in activities throughout the event, including Crate Stacking, the Pumpkin Pull Up, and the Crimper Challenge. You can also purchase raffle tickets during the event:
