Acknowledgement of Risk [AOR]

Everyone using Boulders must have a valid and in date Acknowledgement of Risk [AOR] form before entering the climbing areas, regardless of competency or whether you have climbed at Boulders before.

If you’re already a competent climber you can also register your various climbing proficiencies to allow you unsupervised use of the climbing areas. These "Proficiencies" are ADDITIONAL separate documents for, Roped Climbing, Bouldering and Auto Belay use. If you are competent and intend to register for all three proficiencies you can complete the "Competent Climber Registration ALL Proficiencies" OR "Register to Climb & Buldering Only ADULT Unsupervised Proficiency" INSTEAD of this document.

It’s as simple as 1, 2, 3;

  1. Watch the induction video. This is required for everyone.
  2. Click “Continue” to complete the Acknowledgement of Risk form.
  3. Once completed, you can add your various proficiencies by returning to the start, and join our “CAPITAN” registration and bookings portal using the emailed link.

On your first visit after registering, please see one of our reception team to validate your registration. You will be asked a series of test questions to confirm any proficiencies you’ve registering for.
No one can enter the climbing areas without a validated Acknowledgement Risk Form.
