BOOK A CLIMB
'BOOK A CLIMB' slots are an unsupervised climbing session. All children and novice adults need supervision. The supervising adult must be a registered competent roped climber.
First Time Climbing
Everyone wishing to climb in the centre must complete a registration form - either the Acknowledgment of Risk Form or the Novice Supervision Form. You will need to complete a new form every couple years to ensure that you have read our most up to date conditions of use and rules and that the details we hold for you are current.
The first time you register you'll be asked to check in at Reception to complete your registration by answering some safety questions and paying a £3 one-time registration fee.
You may not top-rope or lead if you have a bouldering only registration.
You can upgrade to a roped climbing registration for free at any time.
Peak Time Climbing
Weekdays after 5pm and Weekends all day.
The centre is very busy during these times, so for the safety and enjoyment of our customers, the Castle may refuse entry if the centre hits the capicity limit. It is essential to book a slot to guaranteed your entry.
Off-Peak Climbing
Weekdays before 5pm.
Discounted entry for Concessions or Children.
Enjoy the centre while it is much quieter, booking a slot is not essential but it will speed up your entry.
Arrive at any time inside your booking
Climb for as long as you want, even enjoying a mid-climb break in our lovely Cafe if you wish, and then leave when you are ready.
Memberships
If you have an Anytime Membership you never needs to book. You can skip the queue and are guaranteed entry, at anytime. Log in and set up your membership here .
For Off-Peak members and Bulk Buy customers, at peak times, it is essential you book a slot to guaranteed your entry.
