THIS IS AN UNSUPERVISED CLIMBING SESSION: All children will need supervision, the supervising adult must be a registered competent boulderer.
Adults can supervise up to 2 children over 8 yrs old, but only 1 climber can be on the wall at a time. Children aged 6 & 7 must be supervised on a 1:1 basis. For more information please see our supervision rules here.
Family Time is available every weekday at 16:00 until 18:00
This is a discounted session for families to climb during our quieter period. We politely request all participants to leave the centre by 6pm, as this is when our peak climbing time commences

Open Climbing is an unsupervised climbing session for experienced, independent climbers and their guests.
All children or novice adults must be supervised by a registered competent climber. Adults can supervise up to two guests aged 8 and above. Children aged 6 & 7 must be supervised on a 1:1 basis.
All first time visitors must come to reception on their first visit. If you have completed an unsupervised climbing form you will be required to complete a competency test. Once registration is complete, we will add a barcode to your profile so you can self check in next time.
Members do not need to book - if you have a prepaid or recurring membership you can check in at any time.
You are booking an arrival time into the centre not a specific climbing slot. i.e. start and end. Our busy periods are weekday evenings and weekends. Our quieter times are - no surprise - weekday daytimes. Choose your climbing time wisely!
Power Hour is a 1 hour time restricted unsupervised climbing session for experienced, independent climbers and their guests.

Little Wings - 25 mins
This film follows Tina Breslin, as she tours lines in Northern Yorkshire and the Lake District. Having been recently diagnosed with ADHD, Tina reflects on the mental benefits of climbing. Despite being a shorter climber (5'2") Tina refuses to give into the struggles that come with the lack of reach, but stakes are raised as she takes on 'Hang the Gallows High', a route in which falling is not an option.

What: These sessions will teach you how to prevent, or rehabilitate from, common climber injuries. Sessions can also be specifically tailored to the needs of the individuals attending.
When: Alternate Sunday mornings, 9.30am-10.30am
Price: Members: £10, Non-members: £15
On alternate Sunday mornings Avril will be running an exercise class to help to teach climbers how to manage their injuries and bodies better.
Posture, hip mobility, and shoulder function can become big problems for climbers, so Avril's classes will aim to address issues like these using techniques she's gathered from her extensive experience as a physiotherapist, in addition with her Pilates and yoga knowledge!
These sessions will help rehabilitate and prevent injury through appropriate stretching, strengthening, and overall body awareness.

The Flash League: Round 1 of 4
When: Friday 28th November, 18:00 to 21:00
What: This is the first round of our 2025/2026 bouldering league. It's self scored, so you'll record your attempts as you go, and your finishing position for each round will determine how many points you collect. By the end of the fourth round, the top 6 male and female climbers will be entered into the finals!
Price: Members price: £3, Non-members price: £5 + regular entry

The Flash Social, a casual competition evening set for all abilities
When: Friday 10th October, 18:30 to 21:30
What: This is a casual, inclusive comp with plenty of low to mid-grade climbs. This is a great introduction to climbing competitions, with no extra pressure, no finals and separate categories for adults & kids. Additionally, this comp is self-scored, so it's up to you whether you hand your scores in at the end, or keep them to yourself.
Who: All ages**, all abilities. Both Supervised and Unsupervised climbers are welcome to take part, regular Supervision rules apply

The Board Social is a fortnightly informally coached social climbing session. It is a supportive environment to share beta, meet new people, climb hard and fall off.
Join us from 7pm-9.30pm upstairs in the training area.
There will be an instructor on hand to ask any questions or climbing advice. Climbers must be signed-off as independent boulderers. We recommend climbers have at least 1 year bouldering experience already and are able to climb V3 in the centre.

There will be an instructor on hand to ask any questions or climbing advice. Open to all abilities, the only requirement being that you are an unsupervised boulderer.
